The message that is recorded during the worship service is then posted later on Sunday or Monday: Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church Facebook page, Good Shepherd Free Lutheran webpage (goodshepherdfreelutheran.com) and we are trying something new and that is sending the message in an email to the congregation like this.

4. The council is asking for input from the congregation. If anyone has an idea for ministry at Good Shepherd or a concern or a 2021 budget request, council is asking that you contact a council member before November 29th. UPDATE Oct 4, 2020

Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6:30 pm in sanctuary. Masks required.

Guidelines for Sanctuary Worship: Sundays at 10:30am

  • For those who have been advised by their doctor that they cannot wear a
  • face mask for medical reasons we will provide a social distancing space for
  • them to participate indoors with us.
  • For everyone else face masks will be required inside the building.
  • We ask that you bring your own face mask, but we will have some masks
  • available if you happen to forget to bring it.  For Pastor and those speaking to
  • the congregation from the front using a microphone, masks will not be required
  • while they are speaking.  We will maintain distancing between the speakers and
  • the congregation.
  • For those who would rather not wear a face mask, options will include the online
  •  message at goodshepherdfreelutheran.com or the FM service found on your car
  • radio at 101.7.
  • We will have hand sanitizer available at the door.
  • We ask that trips to the restroom be limited as you are able and to refrain from
  • entering other rooms that are not needed for worship.  This will lessen the
  • amount of time that will be needed to sanitize after the service.
  • Please bring your own Bible.
  • All congregational singing will be done with masks on.
  • The west building door will be for entering the building and the south building
  • door will be for exiting the building.
  • Offering will be taken as we leave the building at the south entrance.
  • On Communion Sundays we will offer the elements as the congregations leaves
  • the building at the end of the worship service.
  • Fellowship visiting will take place outdoors after you have been dismissed from worship.

Once we get a handle on indoor worship, we will begin to add additional elements

as we are able to observe the level of cooperation we receive for worship and the

comfort level of the congregation in beginning additional elements such as Sunday

school for all ages, confirmation, Bible study and all other activities.

Again, thank you for your faithfulness in both worship and bringing in your tithes and

offerings through these last months.

Please contact Joe Neville 291-9694 or Dean Feistner 480-1790 if you have a suggestion

or any questions as we move into this next stage of worship at Good Shepherd.

May the Lord bless and keep you in the days ahead.
